zenith soundscapes is the ambient experiential music concept of composer daniel finch. zenith’s inspiration is a nostalgic blend of aesthetics from 90s ambient music and 2010s lo-fi — brought into the modern, contemporary era.
this new venture creates unique sonic worlds through stylised EPs and albums based upon abstract concepts and genres. zenith soundscapes experiments with binaural sounds — headphones recommended — by telling stories through movement and atmosphere. zenith falls on the intersection of music, sound, technology and the natural world, uniquely designing experiences for the listener. from new music to ambient soundscapes, there's much to enjoy for anyone!
zenith soundscapes is a friendly, personal and community project, that wants to encourage feeling and engagement from fans, feel free to suggest new ideas or talk about the music you hear! buying music on bandcamp is the best way to support this project, if you’re not able to, sharing and streaming are also massively appreciated :))

#1 | an introduction to the zenith soundscapes project, experience the immersion into a binaural and unique soundscape.
comprised of both music and sound effects. the envelope soundscape — originally a soundtrack composed for the short film of the same name, by Orent Films.
zenith soundscapes created a brand new sound world to reimagine this story, one of a man forced to endure a lifetime in a dementia state, cycling through repetitious days of writing a letter to himself.
this soundscape occurs within the man’s mind, discovering what it could feel like to experience his life. we encounter, rain, thunder, monsters and insects in this binaural dark soundscape ambience.
#2 | the second entry for zenith soundscapes, reimagining the story by Orent Films, of the short film that he originally composed.
a sweet but melancholic story about a young man who attempts to find love, only to be met with some problems.
a romantic pursuing his love, but ultimately failing, and the music reflects that. imagine this man lying down riverside and taking in the beauty in his surroundings.
a reimagining of this story and its music, through tranquil moments on a summers evening. you are binaurally immersed into this sound world of bird, waters and a campfire, as you relax.
EP | zenith soundscapes’ first EP. a binaural reimagining of his soundtracks through music and sound, enhancing immersion. two unique sound worlds
a collection of reimagined early soundtracks from Daniel Finch's career, given a new lease of life through the form of a soundscape.
a formal introduction to the zenith soundscapes project, where many new projects are planned, from electronic to classical — his style is broad and experimental, always finding new ways to tell stories through sound and music.
through headphones is the best way to experience these sound worlds, with extensive care and attention to detail placed on binaural processing, immersion really is the priority.

album | zenith's first album. after the story of the ambient soundtracks has been told, zenith moves onto a focus of the changin seasons — characterising the process of summer fading, autumn leaves falling and ultimately darkness in winter.
a wanderer lost in the wilderness, unable to find their way in the summer's heat, who happens upon an unknown settlement amidst the bracken. What they find there takes them on a journey across the ocean, through forests, meadows and eventually the hazy artic wilderness.
an ambient electronic orchestral hybrid in music, expect lush sounds and unique instruments. finally wrapped up with a defining soundscape made from all album tracks — telling this story through a single audio experience.
